Ford Ranger

Go anywhere, get everywhere

Befitting a vehicle its size, the Ford Ranger's sculpted body was made to withstand the toughest of conditions and tasks, without sacrificing style. You will instantly notice the colour-coded subtleties such as the distinctive front bumper and cladding. Electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors are included as standard, alongside rear fog lamps and daytime running lights.

Thoroughly practical and with plenty of power to boot, the Ford Ranger is the pick-up truck that will impose itself in any situation. Available in three cab sizes - Regular Cab, Super Cab and Double Cab, the Ford Ranger can be customised to your liking.

On the inside, the Ford Ranger offers lumbar-supporting and height-adjustable seating for the driver, as well as plenty of space for all occupants. Comfortable seating and materials are a given as well.

The Ford Ranger is available in two diesel engines which are available depending on trim. The XL base trim comes with the 130PS 2.2-litre TDCi 6-speed manual unit, as well as a 160PS version which is available on the XLT and Limited trims. Emissions are as low as 171 g/km, with the fuel efficiency figure as high as 43.5 on the 160 PS version.

The other engine available is the 3.2-litre TDCi engine which offers 200 PS and is available with the Double Cab versions of the Limited and Wildtrak trims. 4x4 is also available by default on all trims except the Regular Cab XL, which features a 4x2 drivetrain. Maximum towing capabilities range from 1,269kg on the Regular Cab to 3,500kg on the Double Cab.

The Ford Ranger is packed with features by default - the XL trim comes with Electronic Stability Control, DAB Radio with Bluetooth, Electrically-operated and heated door mirrors and electrically-operated front windows. The XLT trim adds cruise control, manual air conditioning and plastic moulded side steps, among others. The Limited trim upgrades the XLT with a SYNC3 infotainment system, dual-zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control air conditioning, rear parking distance sensors, heated front seats on the Double Cab, and more. The Wildtrak swaps the 17'' alloy wheels of the Limited with 18'' machined alloy wheels, adds a titanium effect to the front grille, a Satnav system, rear-view camera and more.
